As we start a new year, I feel the need to say, I have no new years resolutions. I don’t think that the start to a new year is a good reason to work on substantial things. The things in my life I have seen that need to be changed have been in the process of changing for quite some time now. If something doesn’t work properly, you don’t wait a while to fix it. You fix it so it can function again.

I think new years resolutions are a crutch for not putting on our big girl panties and dealing with things that need to be dealt with, when they need to be dealt with.

So, this new year, I’ll continue to work on the things I have already been working on, I will not make unrealistic promises to myself, and I will pray that God will show me some new things to work on this year, too.

Happy New Year! God is going to do some awesome things this year. He did some awesome things last year too.
